Camera from the Valve game Portal. This is not my own pattern, and I generally refrain from posting things that are not my original pattern, but this has been significantly modified. The original pattern is by :iconbillybob884: found here

I just finished it today, and it took me about a week, and it is the sole reason I finally started posting some stuff here. I put in an LED, for one thing. Also I changed a few minor details to make it closer to the game version, such as a few coloring issues and the wires out the back. Which actually work quite well with the LED idea...

I did what I could with what I had. I wanted to build something from portal, and so I found this, and then realized I had LEDs and wire and resistors and a soldering iron lying around in my room... There are a few spots where I had accidents with the glue. And one or two spots where I had accidents with the soldering iron... It's alright tho, I think it gives it more character. Like someone tacked it back up after Chell shot it down. Also, it has hinges so it can move :D And the chunk with the light in it is actually pretty solid, because I kept filling it with stuff because I didn't want light to come out the cracks...

This is what I was working on while I was supposed to be writing a history paper.

These sort of things are always so much more fun and end up so much prettier when one has a history paper due. Life just hates us. I'm making mine, but I have no lights or anything fancy and my printer is pretty mediocre, so it will be nowhere near as awesome as yours. Which, by the way, is fantastic.
